A: Path to Peace is a community of supporters committed to helping people build resiliency on a monthly, ongoing basis. With your gift, you’re making a difference, every month. With your gift, Vikara Village® is able to provide accessible trauma-informed mind-body sessions, like yoga and the arts, to individuals in the DMV.
As a sustaining donor, instead of worrying about making multiple one-time contributions, your gift will be automatically sent, so that you can continue to support Vikara Village® with recurring tax-deductible gifts.
With your support, we can give young people in our community a chance at a brighter future as more resilient citizens. Together, we can pave the Path to Peace.
Q: What are the advantages to this type of giving?
A: When you join Path to Peace, you assist in covering the gaps in funding Vikara Village® faces. It's a way to ensure that each of our programs is 100% funded.
Through Path to Peace, you are able to relieve the worry of making a donation because it happens automatically! You can set up your gift to be Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly on our Donate page. Just check the box that you would like to “Make this donation every__”.

A: Path to Peace provides Vikara Village® with the resources needed to sustain our programs. By becoming a monthly donor, you’re helping to ensure our programs are fully funded to have their greatest impact.

Q: Can I update payment information for my monthly donations?
A: Yes, you are in complete control of your recurring donations. You are always able to manage your subscription using the Donor Dashboard.
Q: How do I increase my donation amount?
A: Through the Donor Dashboard, you have complete access and control of your donations to Vikara Village®’s Path to Peace. Through the Donor Dashboard, you are able to access your giving history, update your credit card information, update the amount of your donation, change your address, etc…
Q: Is my monthly donation tax deductible?
A: Yes! In January of each year we will send you a tax-deductible receipt for the prior year. This receipt will record all of your donations to Vikara Village® for the calendar year. If you need a statement of your giving prior to the annual mail date, you can access this in your Donor Dashboard.
Q: How can I end my monthly/recurring donation?
A: We’re sad to see you! However, we know things change and it's easy to make changes or stop your contributions at any time. Through your Donor Dashboard, you can click on “cancel subscription.” If you need assistance accessing your account please contact our Help Desk.
